The team at Ewood House knew it was time for a change. The practice had been well used for many years and was looking decidedly tired. Knowing that this would not be conducive to the sign up of new patients or customer satisfaction, the management went out to tender for a new fit out for the dental surgery.

However with the financial cost that was inevitable, and knowing that the chairs and other surgery equipment were in reasonable condition; they chose Global Dental, who were willing not only to carry out the refurb, but to also remove and reinstall their surgery equipment, bringing it up to specification and modern standards.

Another key benefit that Global Dental could offer where others were not willing to, was keeping the practice running, throughout the works, by using out of hours tradesmen and installations, meaning that the 2 month project didn’t cost the practice in lost treatment time with the exception of one week for the ground floor and one week for the first floor.

Key Features of this project:

  • Seven surgeries refurbished to a high standard with new cabinetry, décor, flooring and signage
  • Majority of works carried out after hours and at weekends, meaning the surgery could keep working
  • Transformed reception and waiting area with bespoke reception desk
  • All existing equipment removed and reinstalled at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.

What we delivered

Skilled refurbishment and out of hours working were used to transform the aesthetic of this established practice with the minimum of disruption. A head-turning relaunch was competed with an attractive, modern reception desk – made specifically for Ewood House – as a finishing touch.
